DTF OR UV DTF: WHICH SHOULD YOU ORDER?
Start with the surface. Choose DTF for apparel and fabric. Choose UV DTF for compatible smooth, hard surfaces.
DTF transfers
Best for: cotton, polyester, and many common fabric blends used for tees, hoodies, uniforms, tote bags, and apparel.
- Applied with a heat press
- Supports detailed, full-color artwork
- Useful for short runs, personalized pieces, and gang sheets
UV DTF transfers
Best for: compatible smooth, hard surfaces such as select tumblers, glass, acrylic, and rigid promotional items.
- No heat press is used for application
- Supports detailed, full-color graphics
- Not intended for fabric or apparel
Artwork checklist
- Use a high-resolution file with a transparent background when the design should not print as a rectangle.
- Size the artwork for its intended final dimensions.
- Check spelling, colors, and small details before submitting.
- Avoid soft shadows, unintended background pixels, and extremely fine elements that may not reproduce cleanly.
